Marthajoy and Emma are really enjoying Passion Time!
One of the girls is doing woodwork and is holding a prototype of a bedside table she is going to make this term! The other girl is learning to knit. She is holding a pompom she created that she will sew onto a knitted head band.
They are motivated and enthusiastic and learning some fantastic real world skills as well as goal setting and reflecting on what they are doing.

Passion time is fun I have really enjoyed it so far.Emma the bedside table looks awesome nice job on designing it. I like how you made a little space in the middle of it so you could put books or what ever you want in it ,and you could put a lamp and or a alarm clock on the top. Marthajoy I like the colour scheme in your pompom it would look spectacular on a head band or you could put it a woollen hat I cant wait to see what it looks like when it's done. you two look like your making a lot of progress in your passion time good job.

WOW! Incredible girls! It's always interesting to see what other people are up to when it comes to things like this. Emma, that's AMAZING I would never think that somebody that young would be able to do that and I definitely wouldn't! Amazing woodwork and good luck on the real thing! Martha-joy, that is some incredible stuff! Master piece! It shouldn't be too easy to do something like that! I'm not even sure how that works but it looks REALLY nice! It looks extremely complicated and difficult and you're obviously doing a really good job on it! I also think that the headband is gonna be a really great success!

WOOOOOOAH!!!! That is a really good prototype Emma I can't wait to see your real piece, I like the way you designed it, it is very different compared to others and that's the thing I love about your piece Emma.WOOWW!! Martha-joy that pompom is so colourful which makes it stand out, also you could put that pompom on top of a beanie or something like that. I can't wait too see it is done.
